About
Goal The goal of the research on risk factors of urinary system diseases is to identify and verify those factors that may cause urinary system diseases through systematic research on risk factors of urinary system diseases, thus take effective preventive measures to reduce the incidence of urinary system diseases and improve the health level of the population. Scientific basis The occurrence of urinary diseases is related to many factors, including gender, heredity, environment, lifestyle and so on. For example, the incidence of bladder cancer in men is significantly higher than that in women, the genetic susceptibility and family history are important risk factors of prostate cancer. what's more, long-term exposure to toxic substances, radiation and other environmental factors may increase the incidence of urinary diseases, such as renal cancer. In addition, bad habits, such as lack of physical exercise, sedentary, insufficient water, etc., are also important causes of urinary system diseases, and affect its prognosis, such as urinary calculi. Studies have shown that hypertension may be associated with myoinvasive bladder cancer, and initial prostate-specific antigen level and positive surgical margin are important predictors of biochemical recurrence in prostate patients with pT3b undergoing robot-assisted radical prostatectomy. There are many unknown risk factors of urinary system diseases need to be found and get our concern. Project duration The duration of this research project may take 1~3 years to collect enough data to conduct in-depth analysis and investigate. Public health impact The public health implications of this research are significant. Through the study of the risk factors of urinary system diseases, we can better understand the causes of diseases, provide scientific basis for public health decision-making, and promote the formulation and implementation of health policies. In addition, the research results can also be used to guide medical institutions to more accurately prevent and treat diseases in clinical practice, and improve the quality of medical services.1 Publication
